Designer Jo Soh’s womenswear label, hansel, blends playfulness and
minimalism in her unique take on retro-inspired styles. Her signature
love for juxtaposing strong and subtle shades has garnered accolades
since hansel’s impressive debut at Mercedes Australian Fashion Week in
November 2003.

After graduating with 1st class Honours in Fashion Design with
Marketing from Central St. Martins, Jo honed her skills working with
internationally renowned designers around the globe. She sewed haute
couture garments for Tristan Webber in London, designed for
Singapore-based Song+Kelly21 and had assignments in Milan and New York.
hansel has been spotted on celebrities such as Australian rock chicks,
The Veronicas, whose 2007 album “Hook Me Up” has just turned platinum;
and Singaporean actress Fann Wong, who appeared alongside Jackie Chan
and Owen Wilson in the movie, Shanghai Knights, in 2003.
